Before distribution, your playout must be:
- HLS output with appropriate bitrate ladder (1080p, 720p, 540p minimum)
- SCTE-35 markers correctly placed for SSAI ad insertion
- EPG feed delivered in XMLTV or JSON format per platform specs
- Monitoring in place with alerting on stream interruption

Distribution readiness checklist
- Stream URL (HLS) tested and stable
- SCTE-35 ad markers validated
- EPG feed live and updating
- Channel artwork per platform specs (16:9 and 2:3 variants)
- Content rights confirmed for linear/FAST distribution
- Reporting setup for each platform's dashboard
